A decade of economic turmoil in Japan has left the country divided. The big urban centers such as Tokyo and Osaka struggle on, but the rest of the country is starving for business. We created this brochure for Miyazaki prefecture in Kyushu to help it woo foreign companies.

We wrote and translated a bilingual newsletter that reported the latest happenings from Chiba's growing biotech sector in late 2004 and early 2005.

After we finished the translation of Jintai no Shikumi (Action Anatomy, 2005, Harper Collins) for Works Corp., we pondered going to medical school in Japan. That's how technical the vocabulary was.
Mitsubishi Landmark Tower

Mitsubishi Estate's Landmark Tower in Yokohama is offering a novel service for foreign companies in Japan. It's called the Business Concierge, and the idea is to support companies entering the Japanese market much like a hotel concierge helps the guests. We were asked to create their website.
